It was a somewhat murky but mild morning here in Wiltshire and although I'm not running at the moment I wanted to join you all in honouring Tim. So my version was a 'nature appreciation walk' of which I am sure he would have approved.
Apart from the camera on my phone, I went tech-free to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Wiltshire countryside. I felt so much better for being out in the fresh air and thought how true it was that many of the benefits of running can be gained without the actual running part. I thought about the many times during C25K that I have gasped aloud Tim's mantra of "am I going slowly enough that I can speak this sentence in one out breath". And most of all, I made sure I was smiling all the way!
Most of what I have learnt about running came from Tim. I never met him but he had a huge positive impact on my life and will be forever remembered. He did indeed "noda truffe" - about running, and a great deal of other things.

Great post Liono 🥰 I still do that mantra to myself when I feel out of puff 🤣 it works everytime! So glad you had a lovely walk in nature - just makes you feel grateful 🥹
So glad to see your post Liono, you've been quiet for too long! I too did a walk for Tim yesterday, a parkrun walk as my knee is a bit iffy. We will be back running and smiling before long! Xx
