Run for Tim

Not the brightest day for my run for Tim, but I feel he wouldn't have minded running in the rain with me. This is my view along the river Cam from Victoria Bridge in Cambridge, I have often thought of Tim as I run here. I remember one particular message he sent me, about how he was struggling with his diagnosis, then when he got up in the morning and opened the curtains, and saw what a beautiful bright day it was, he was filled with hope.

We shared many such thoughts, cancer is a very dark place if you let it become so, but Tim always looked for the light in every situation.

This was a special run for me, I've struggled lately with pace and distance, but today I managed 7KM at what I felt was a reasonable pace given my health issues. Tim was with me all the way.
