Tim’s Run - still smiling! still running!

Cant do tomorrow so made it to my local park run today, at Nonsuch Park, Surrey.

It was a PB for me today so the smile is a little broader perhaps, but ignoring the time it’s simply the fact I was in the park with 500 other “runners” that makes me smile broadly every time I do this.

Like many I was inactive for years and could never imagine myself jogging anywhere let alone running 5k and beyond. Finding C25K and this forum (even as a lurker not active poster) was amazing and has changed my life for the better. I really can’t thank you all enough.

Tim’s words were, and still are, a great support to me and anyone I’m sure that fortunately finds this place. After Tim’s final, and very moving, Natures Balm post I had meant to join the appreciation comments and thank him in person. Regrettably I never quite penned that post in time so this will have to do.

Many thanks Tim for all your efforts and wonderful words that captured so well the joy of your runs and the nature around us all that is often missed as we rush about. You advised and inspired so many, my self included, not only in your passion for this running lark but also in your journey though life. Thank you Tim, you made a difference!

Chris

Thank you for this smile, Chris! Brought one to my face, too!

And your words made me wonder if the fall colors I've been noticing this year aren't more bright than last year - I just notice them more as I run through nature because I've been made more aware of it thanks to this forum, especially Tim's contribution to it... Thanks for sharing 😊
