I did this the other year, completed and got the trophy!!! I lapsed due to health issues and when I tried again, new phone, new download, I found that this version didn't have a half-time turn around bell?!!! Help, can I get the original again?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on making a great decision to start c25k. Whatever you did last time is great experience you can draw on this time so you’re already further ahead than you were. There’s great support here, and many people who have done the c25k more than once so you’re in great company.

I don’t think you can find earlier versions of the app. The one I used in January had a half way bell. If the most up to date version doesn’t, could you set a timer on your phone? It’s not ideal though. Maybe it was one rogue run with no bell? Fingers crossed.

There’s a brilliant little guide to the programme here with lots of helpful hints and tips.  Well worth a read.  Most important is keeping it slow and steady at a pace where you can talk in full sentences without gasping.  Most of us go too fast!

Really good luck to you 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

EDIT: Just thought- c25k is available on podcast instead of the app. That might have a bell

I always used the original podcasts with Laura and she tells you when you are half way through so that's the clue to turn back. Otherwise you could work out how long the total time is, including the warm up and cool down 5 minute walks, and set an alarm on your watch for halfway.

The times are approximately: wk1 31 mins, wk 2 33 mins, wk3 28 mins, wk4 35 mins, wk5 33 mins.

Good Luck :)

I can't comment on the app as it's not available where I live, so I used the original podcasts. On those Laura tells you how far along you are in the run, though I'm not sure it was always at halfway. Definitely no bell in them though.

Enjoy your C25K return!
