Another post grad run. It feels great after 4 days of unintentional rest due to work. New route came with its challenges, took a wrong path and felt discouraged. However, I kept running & glad I finished my run.
I am worried about losing my running form due to coming darker evenings. By the time I get home it will be dark, leaving me with option to run on weekends. 😰
Is it advisable to run on consecutive days (Sat & Sun)?

it not recommended to run on consecutive days until you have been running for a good 9 or maybe 12 month's. (Some may say even longer)
When you run you produce micro tears within the structure of your muscles.
these of course take time to repair
running before this repair can of course have adverse effects on your development and also put you at very real risk of suffering an overuse injury which can come out of the blue and put you out for days, weeks or even months.
Hi B_Dlo , please don't run on consecutive days, you really do need at least one non-run day in between run days to recover. You won't lose form by having two, three or even four days' break.
Whether or not you wish to run in the dark is a personal choice. It is, though, entirely feasible provided that you can see and be seen. In practice that usually means a head or chest torch, and definitely hi-viz clothing with reflective strips. You can also get fluo armbands with extra lights.
I wouldn’t run consecutive days yet if you may limp through the week, if it’s safe and well lit you could do shorter runs in the dark, maybe get a head torch and make sure someone knows where you are and how long you’ll be, running in the dark can be amazing
