week 1 - I’ve smashed it!

Well, a couple of weeks ago I was desperate to start running again but had no idea whether it would actually be possible on my new medication. Today I finished week 1! Admittedly I’m planning on doing each week twice to give my poor fragile body more time to adjust to the shock, but whoop whoop, I made it through three runs in a week! And with having managed two the previous week, this is going surprisingly well 😁

Running is also turning out to be a great way to explore the area, since we just moved here last month. The roads on the estate are an absolute maze, but I’m learning how they fit together too - it’s not just making my legs work, but my brain too 😂

So important to go at your own pace as you’d probably give up if you overdid it. Well done! I’m sure you feel much better x
