I've completed the CT5K. I'm so proud. The last week was tough, but i did it, than ran the race for life 5k and raised Β£320 for cancer research!! Please can I have a badge.
Hi Instructor57,I am delighted to say I completed the Couch to 5K programme this morning. My thanks to you, the team and the whole of this marvellous community. Now I have learned the basics of how to run properly I plan to learn more, consolidate and continue running in line with the great advice here.
Completed C25K on Monday Aug 1st, never thought I'd get there but thanks to Denise Lewis I made it. I'm now a 63 year old runner. Trying to extend my range by 1km a week over the next 4 weeks or so as I'm in the Great North Run!My word what have I done
Finished C25k today. Amazed with myself. I never had to repeat a week, and managed 4k this morning! I have never run in my life, even at school, which was a long time ago. I plan to continue running 3 times a week, and see where I end up. My goal is 5k by the middle of September. So, please can I have my Graduation badgeπ
Many thanks Instructor57, I still canβt believe I finally completed the programme ! π I am determined to build on my progress and continue to make running a regular part of my life. πββοΈ
I'd like to apply for my graduation badge as completed my 3rd run of week 9 couch25k yesterday with the fabulously motivating Jo Whiley! Also with the help & support of this amazing forum thank you all ππ₯³π
Hi there...I have finished C25K and just to check it wasn't a fluke I even ran a leisurely 30 mins this a.m hahahaha so thanks for everything...I am looking to train to 10k now...It never ends. Anyway please could I have my badge when you get a sec...many thanks
Hi. I've just managed my first 30-minute run today but only managed 3.65k. However, I'm 64 and only 1m55 so take short strides! π Do I still qualify? Please?? π
Finished W9R3 this morning. Yay! I enjoyed the first half and hung in there for the second half, thanks to Laura's encouraging words and the brilliant penultimate song on the podcast. Thanks to all the team involved in this successful and inspiring C25K programme. I am truly astounded that I am able to run for 30 min, having suffered from an achilles problem in past decades and thinking I was past it. Looking forward to signing up for my first ever Park Run this weekend! Thinking about how I am going to continue and consolidate - especially when the colder weather arrives. I find it easy to go out running on sunny fresh summer mornings, but I imagine it will be harder on dark, cold winter days. I think the key will be to keep in mind the wonderful health benefits of running regularly. I would be very happy to have a graduation badge.
