Ta-da! I did it! Thank you Reece Parkinson, you gave me so much support, music and encouragement along the way. Extra motivation from everyone in this group - a great source of info, practical advice and that warm fuzzy feeling that I wasn't doing this by myself. Thank you.
Wow, I can’t believe I’m posting in here. W9 R3 done - what an amazing journey it’s been! Looking forward to everything that comes next. Thanks everyone for their amazing support.
I completed W9R3 on Tuesday, I was so proud of myself, I still can't believe it to be honest and tonight I just completed Wk9R4 😀. I am going to continue to run 3 x week for half an hour and hopefully improve my pace x
Hi AllHappy to announce that I have completed C25K this morning. My legs are tired but my head and heart is in the clouds - I’m so pleased with myself!!
I completed C25K this morning, and was actually able to enjoy the last run. The 4:45am alarm takes some getting used to it, but it's worth it. Looking forward to getting my Graduate badge and progressing on to some new challenges.
Just finished my wk 9 run 3 and still cannot believe how this Programme has helped me. I am so shocked at how much better I feel every day. I will always be grateful x
I graduated at the end of April and was continuing with 3 runs a week and loving it until Covid! Can I still claim a graduation badge? Also, any advice for getting back to running after two weeks of being floored by this horrible virus? Thank you.
But.. the main thing is you need to listen to your body... steady and slow. We still know so little about this pesky virus!
When you think you are feeling ready to move again, then head out for a little jogette and just see how you feel ! Your body will tell you exactly what is what.
Just remember, not to push and that the runs will wait for YOU to be fully recovered
Finished C25K a last week and forgot to post. Pushed on in a consolidation run to the magic 5k mark. Never in my life did I think I would be able to do this. Onwards and upwards!
Hello! This is my first post... I completed C2K5 this morning and ran an extra three minutes so that I could get the full 5k! That was the first time I've ever ran that distance - I did it more than 6 hours ago and I'm still buzzing! I think I'm hooked - on a run day I jump out of bed like a kid on Christmas day. I don't even know who I am anymore 😂
