Changing up the route

I just completed week 6. I decided to change the route a bit which meant a bit more of road than I am used to. It made a big difference- I felt more engaged, more curious than when I was running the same route around the park area. I think I will try to incorporate these changes gradually. I was shy about running on pavement and also the hills, of which there are lots around here- they can't be avoided. But if I don't want to always run in circles, this will be next step.....

I started changing my route and heading around town in the last couple of weeks of C25K and I felt it made a real difference! The runs actually felt easier - maybe because I was distracted by my surroundings? I found I actually ran faster and enjoyed it more 😁

it also opens up a lot more possibility- i'm looking forward to changing the scenery and seeing how it goes. i've got another new route mapped out for tuesday....
