Waiting to assess this mornings weather as I approach run 3 of week 2 . Did a mid week swim to change up the exercise , had severe cramp !! Must drink more water πŸ’§ update to follow if I can get out there before storm Eunice hits πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ€ž

Well done to you! Hopefully you have read the essential guide to running C25K, and are on course for your goal.

A healthy eating regime and great hydration every day is a winning combination, and some strength and stamina work on some of your rest days too, is so helpful.

Swimming, walking, yoga, Pilates etc. Even a day's gardening ( in the right weather ) or a blitz on housework can be useful! Do take a look at the great links on the S and F forum. There are some really good ideas there for keeping our running body in trim.

I started running at 65, still running at nearly 72... and the advice I give ,for which I am famous on here ( or is that infamous?) , is... slow and steady.
