W5R3 complete...no stress πŸ˜‰

Just completed the big jump to 20mins continuous 'run'. Was still good to do another 5k walk. Yay!

Very pleasantly surprised that I could do it without getting out of breath. A scenic path and a marathon run next to us must have helped with the energy levels :)

Well done, it is a major step but is, overall, the shortest workout since W3.............so no big jump in time.

Stay nice and slow for W6R1............it catches out more people than any other run in the programme.

Keep running, keep smiling.

As long as you didn't feel tempted to complete the marathon. 🀣

Hahaha.. After my run, I watched many more of them run past as I sat in a cafe sipping my chai latte & digging into the walnut-maple scone. That's as close as I will get to the marathon at the mo 🀣

Walnut maple scone you say? I think the NHS should supply them for everyone who completes week 5πŸ˜‚

Well done - you are getting close to the finish now. That 20 minute run is my favourite one if the programme. Now you know you are a runner, don't you? πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thanks Fionamags! It feels like an achievement but I am not sure if I will ever be able to call myself a runner. I run so slow, any slower I will start going backwards😜 but I am sticking to the programme and who knows where it will take me!

Thank you for the encouragement Birdlady64 . I never thought i will ever be able to run for more than a minute as running is not my thing. I am really pleased sticking to the programme has worked for me so far and I could actually run for 20mins straight.
