I was on Week 7 but have had a cold and hacking cough for a fortnight and not run at all.How far back should I go to once I begin again?

Hi, tbh everyone is diffrent but if it was me i wouldn't go back, just carry on from where you left off and if necessary just redo that run until you can complete

As stated in the guide to the plan, you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running. After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out for a gentle run and see what we can comfortably manage, then use C25k or something similar to rebuild stamina and resistance to injury.

As IannodaTruffe says, when you get back out, just take it easy and see what happens. If you complete 25 minutes, great. If you can't, then check where your run would put you in the programme, and restart from there. Better to spend a bit longer recovering than overdo it. Wishing you a happy return to running!
