Brilliant! Love the gremlin thwacker Reminds me my mum used to have one of those on the wall of our "front room" when I was a kid πWill be keeping a lookout for your post tomorrow morning.
Ooh interesting... Holiday parkrun. Mind you I still have to brave my local one in the woods where I did all of c25kMy plan was to "do" the Aqueduct first thing in the morning hopefully before all the walkers were out. Such an amazing place to run you have on your doorstep
It seems that the Dwyfor and Arfon regions of Gwynedd have nixed parkruns for the moment. I'd like to try doing Hafan Pwllheli at least once.
I'll be volunteering for the first time at Chadderton Hall parkrun the day before the City of Manchester 10k. (It seemed prudent not to run the day before, and there was coincidentally an appeal for volunteers.)
Iβm prepping myself for a Thursday run also!! Itβs more of a mind game for me as I get anxious going out but I love it when I get going! Good luck to you sir!
I did it and really enjoyed it! But I was pretty stressed out about certain things so I went too fast at the start as I was itching to get my stress out! But the second half after I slowed down was a real joy
Kudos and congratulations Pymander10 you sound like you owned that run, and brought it back under control, brilliant!! π Remember that pacing, it's not racing π¦Έ. I used to recite my name and address and random sentences to ensure I was running at a conversational pace. But whatever works for you then give it a whirl,
Keep on with it you'll be chuffed when that 9weeks final run has arrived
Thank you! I hope yours went the same! Doing a run today so fuelling up with water! Ah thatβs a good idea I sometimes sing along to music to make sure Iβm going the right pace!
