Will it be the same ? I really can’t run on the road as too busy here and I would have to drive to go to a park so don’t see the point I can go to the gym and want to loose weight after having by pass surgery 5 months ago

Enjoy the program
I did it on the treadmill and still run 3x times a week on it now I’ve graduated - it’s harder to ditch sessions if you only have to go to the garage, I find!
Good luck with the plan - don’t hesitate to post any queries/issues on here, this is the friendliest forum on the internet 🙂
I am doing it in the gym on a treadmill. I live way up in the hills in mid Wales and no way can I manage road running yet! Also, as KayBee says, I fing it harder to ditch sessions when in they're in the gym - especially at the moment when (in Wales anyway) you have to book a session, you can't just walk in as it was pre-pandemic.
Good luck! You can do this. Please take it steady mind, I'm having to repeat weeks now I'm getting further on but I'm not beating myself up over it - seven weeks ago I couldn't even run for a bus 😮 and now I'm running a total of sixteen minutes each session 😁👍😁
Yes I’m doing it in a treadmill, some great advice I found on here & what works for me: run in a well ventilated room - windows open/ fan & light clothing- as you will get hot. Still need proper footwear to ensure good support. Virtual running videos on YouTube are great motivators as you can pretend you’re running outside with cool landscapes. Stay hydrated, with water bottle to hand. Plug into some great music and get lost in the beat. Start slow - slow and steady runs the race - around 5kmh or whatever works for you. Run on a 1% incline if you can as it mimicked outside and won’t be too much of a shock if you do make it outside. Good luck!
