So my sister and I, for some time now have been saying, “Let’s get fit” “Let’s start from this date”, which usually follows by us both avoiding the subject, hoping the other forgets our optimistic plans to go and kill ourselves at CrossFit!
Last week my sister said to me, “Let’s do C25K?” Mmm “I hate running” I replied (I hate any exercise to be fair!). To which she said “it’s really good, you walk for a minute, then run for a minute, and build up until you can run a full 5k”. That sounds like my kind of running I thought. I’m not getting any younger and this working from home malarkey has seen me put over a stone on… I lie it’s about 2 stone. I’m fed up of none of my nice clothes fitting me and I want to feel mentally and physically healthy again, so I said yes let’s do it!
We have plans to begin our journey tomorrow, my sister has not mentioned it since, but this time I’m not going to let her forget, it was her idea after all! Wish us luck!

Thank you, I will take a look at the guidance before tomorrow and also send it to my sister. I will be posting regular updates and filling everyone in on our antics
I’m feeling rather positive about it and hoping that posting regularly will add to my motivation.
Fabulous - wishing you both loads of luck! I am supporting my daughter with her C25k - second run today. I'm loving doing it all again - it's like a nostalgia trip! You won't regret this. Enjoy your first run!
I hope you both enjoy it! Me and my sister are quite literally the same, since lockdown and working from home we’ve both put on about 3.5 stone! We are on week 7 now (after many tearful runs and arguments and laughing) and we’ve both lost weight and beginning to love running. I started on 15 stone I’m now at 12:11 stone. It really does work! Good luck 🤞
