Finished W1R3 on Monday and did W2R1 this morning. Feeling great about it too! I'm running just little faster than I was when I completed the whole thing in 2019. It's not fast by any stretch of the imagination but it pleases me to have been able to push a little harder. Happy running everyone!

Very well done! But slow down as the runs get longer. Forget pace for now 👌🏽

Congratulations on your progress ! I wouldn't be tempted to pick the speed up though, even if it is 2nd time around.
Save that for later 👍 😁

Why are you pushing harder?
Counterintuitively, your body develops more effectively at an easy conversational pace than when you push harder.

I appreciate all the comments and advice regarding possibly over doing it. I run on a treadmill, in a gym, under the guidance of a trainer. Last time I did C25K I walked at 4 kph and run at 7 kph with an incline of 1.5. This time I'm walking at 5 kph and running at 8 kph, following the trainer's advice. I also walk everyday around my local woods and have been doing so for months. I usually walk at 6 kph and most of my walks are 5 to 7 miles and at least 50% uphill. After assessing my fitness he suggested trying C25K with walking at 5 kph, run at 8 kph and an incline of 2. So that's what I've done so far. I've not found particularly difficult but I do know that when the runs get longer, that may well change! Lol. If it does I'll repeat at a lower speed. I'm currently within my comfort zone and want to challenge myself, but rest assured, I am taking good advice at every step. 😊
