Been tough 7 weeks since calf injury with physio treatment and losing much of my hard earned fitness, more importantly slowing my recovery from heart surgery which was a key motivational factor for me doing this...

This weekend picked myself up, dusted off trainers unsure on fitness levels tentatively started ‘back’ at W2.... was a challenge but managed to complete it. Calf held up but been very sore since. Contemplating whether to repeat same week or move up to W3 on next run? For now just glad I managed to run, going to badge it as a ‘comeback’ run and take it slow...

Hope everyone out there is doing well and great to see so many graduating these past few weeks, has kept me inspired to start and go again...

Well done, QuadroVEINia for making a comeback! But I'm sure you can do this again. Take it slow and steady, repeat a week if you feel you need to, but officially, if you've managed the week, then you can move on to the next week. Be guided by your body. Good luck to you 🤞

Welcome back. I have redone C25K a number of times after injury and illness, it never fails. Enjoy your journey.

Really cools muscles where in pain and helped me with my coccyx after I slipped at work on the stairs!

Really recommend this stuff! Arnica is really good! My German Granddad used it for his Rheumatism!

But do check if its safe with medication you take guys!

But my coccyx are tons better now! ,👌👍❤️

For Runners I would totally recommend this!👌

Welcome back! Best advice I can give is, don't be bound by the program. It's a guide, not an instruction. Move on if you feel ready, but for goodness sake, don't if you aren't sure about your calf. Maybe do one more week 2 run, and see how that feels? Take an extra rest day between runs to let your calf recover, and I'm sure you've got lots of lovely stretches to do courtesy of your physio! Especially important to do warm-up and cooldown stretches for every run. And of course, don't run through pain. Best of luck with your recovery.
