Parkrun route test

I was lucky enough to be invited to the try-out of the new route for my local parkrun...we were about 35 runners, and the usual number of volunteers...with maybe 60 other people on the common engaging in other sports.

It was weird to be surrounded by so many people after so much isolation although everyone was aware of social distancing. Also very nice to see some old friends and familiar faces.

Looks good Curlygurly2, often on a Saturday morning whether I have been running or walking I often see people in a park as you show on that photograph.

Cambridge people have been really obeying the lockdown rules, and the weather hasn't been conducive for strolling about the park - it's strange to see them out and about now!

No, it's just Coldham's Common with a slight change to the route.

You go to parkruns that start with different letters of the alphabet. There are other challenges such as compass points where the parkrun name starts North /East /South / West. Cambridge could be used towards the pirate challenge... 7 C's and an R.... 🤣
