That was an amazing experience running along Exeter quay with hundreds of other people and I loved it! I was all prepared to do it this week but almost backed out due to a bad sleep, getting up early to go running isn't usually something i would consider a fun way of spending the weekend!
But what a great experience, really well organised and friendly with no pressure to do anything but take it at your own pace.
Turns out running with lots of people was what I'd been missing and I managed a comfortable pace, my breathing was good and I felt such a rush when I finished that I almost burst into tears!
So I'm waiting for my time but I think it's about 34 minutes which I'm very happy with for my first 5k. I ran 5k!!
