New to the forum - why didn’t I find this earlier?!

First post here. Just done Week 6 Run 3 in the rain!. Didn’t want to miss out running today so I could keep my alternate day routine and hoping to get to the end of week 9 before Michael Johnson disappears.

Never believed I could get this far. Been cycling for many years but no running since late teens. Thought it’s now or never and started at 62 and really enjoying it! (and “feeling” it!)

Congratulations on starting C25K and also well done on completing run 3 of week 6, as well as being a 🚴 cyclist like I am you are now OFFICIALLY a 🏃🏾 runner as well., onwards and upwards 🏃🏾 👍

Thanks, I must admit I was surprised, and pleased to be told at the end of the run that I’m now a runner! I’d never really thought that would be a term to describe me!

Looking forward to consolidating today’s run during week 7 - just to prove it’s not a fluke!

Well done on finishing week 6 and in the rain! And welcome to the forum - it’s a brilliant place for support and advice. I used to cycle but find the traffic a bit hairy, so foot power it is 😄🦶. Best of luck with week 7. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️😄🏆👟🦵
