Welcome to the forum Fatwalker! C25K is a running programme that aims to get you running non stop for 30 minutes. You might not lose any weight (I didn’t) but you will feel so much better at the end of it! There is a piece in the pinned posts section by Iannoda Truffe which will give you everything you need to know and is essential reading. All I would add is remember to stay well hydrated and take it slowly! Good luck and enjoy yourself!

Welcome to the forum Fatwalker, I prefer to call you Qamar, good luck for your weight loss journey and runs here on C25K, running in itself won't make you lose weight but while doing the course eat a healthy diet, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck to you Qamar for your healthy diet and running journey with C25K. 😊 🏃🏾

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

C25k is not a weight loss programme, but it will tone you up and you may find, like many others, that you want to maximise your running potential, so begin to change your diet, which is the only way to lose weight.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Morning Qamar and welcome to the forum. I only started my journey in January and very recently graduated. I have found this forum to be so incredibly positive and welcoming and I am sure you will too. Check in regularly and especially when you are having moments of doubt or need reassurance. You will always find it here. Take it incredibly slowly and enjoy yourself! 😉

There's lots of friendly advice here. Post regularly on your progress, good or not so good. We'll cheer on the successes and offer advice when things aren't going so well.

And do read the FAQ by IannodaTruffe . There's lots in there.
