Congratulations on almost completing C25K, you don't need to run a 5K to graduate from C25K, all you need to do is run 3/30 minute runs non stop in week 9, good luck for your graduation run. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ

I graduated a week ago; I've done two more 30 min runs since then and am still only at around 3.2km. Don't worry about distance. Few of us could run the 8 1min runs of W1 without getting puffed out.

Think about what you've managed to do not what you'd still like to do.

Thank you so true!!So chuffed to be where I am now - this forum ha sheen the best!!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

That distance isn't set in stone, the couch to 5 k programme will enable you to get Running non stop for 30 minutes, we all have different distances, worry not you're doing just great, and will still get a shiny badge

Thank you - canโ€™t quite believe that I have got to week 9 - although very aching legs today ๐Ÿ˜Š when completed week 9 am going to think about where I want to run more for enjoyment and not really thinking about time and distance! Maybe see a bit more of the countryside rather than running around the small town where I live

Take it slow and steady as you head to that podium. Enjoy the run in and the cheers as we wait for you. As AlMorr says, all you need is the 30 minutes. Many, many folk never ever reach 5K, in 30 minutes. they are awesome runners who run HMs and Marathons and all manner of fantastic runs. Many have no desire to reach 5K in 30 minutes.

Check this post out and you will see the statistics:)

The point is to reach that first 30 minute goal and then see where You want to go next :)

Well done you !

Iโ€™m 60 now and didnโ€™t start my running ๐Ÿ˜‰journey until I was 54. Iโ€™ve ran 2 HMโ€™s and several 10 ks and I know for certain Iโ€™ll NEVER achieve a 30 min 5k. I enjoy just going out and plodding along at my snails pace. Well done on your achievement and accept your graduation with pride.
