Not sure if I submitted my last post so apologies if I’ve repeated. You guys were right running in the morning I felt less vulnerable but no less embarrassed. The 90 seconds were fine but the 2min walk was over really quick. I got cocky on my last run and increased speed and carried on running, will not do that again sticking to the program as it is! I’m on nights now so won’t be running until Tuesday but I’ll still be reading post for inspiration. x

You’re doing really well, and I’m pleased you’ve found the delights of early morning runs. It took me a while to get onto them - but I love them now.

Along with your physical progress in the programme you will also gain confidence, there is a point for everyone where you almost run out of your imaginary calipers and just run... just like Forrest Gump did, it can be physical or a mental change. After that point you may find that you care not on others opinions on how/if/when you run.... you just run.

If it’s a safety concern you have then that is an entirely different matter. The best advice I can offer is always trust your gut instinct!

Also, attempting to go further or faster will cause more problems than it’s worth... reign it in and keep it steady!

Enjoy the rest of week 2! 😎

You've caught your park looking really nice. I'll look forward to hearing more of your progress when you return to the daytime world 😊

Congratulations on getting out there and conquering your fears over those guys in the park. You will become a better runner every day, they won't!!

I am a huge fan of mornings, I love the freshness and the quietness before the world comes to life. It also makes me feel great all day - like I have earned it!

Was very nervous about this run, but did my stretches and thought 'what's the worst that can happen!
