Good morning everyone. Why did 2 x 10 with a 3 min walk feel harder than the 20 min run last week? And however am I going to manage25 mins? AND I have just run for 20 minutes!never thought I’d be able to do that when I thought wk 4 was going to be too hard.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement x

Eyes on the prize... C25K is a 9 week program and the aim is 3x 30 minutes in Week 9. At some stage the walking breaks need to disappear and then you need the mindset to adjust to the idea of simply 'running' (jogging!).
25 mins? If you managed the psychological hurdle of the 20 minute W5R3 then 25 mins should not faze you in the slightest. It's only 5 minutes extra ... what's the problem?
We all have experienced the dreaded gremlins, I agree, just tell them to shut up !! You can do this, just keep your positive pants pulled up really high
The first two runs of W6 catch a lot of us out. As for W6R3. Just run it with the same mindset you ran W5R3 and you shouldn't have too much trouble with the additional 5 mins.
No problem. Most of us on here who graduated gained much needed support from advice and encouragement given and shared on this forum on their way through C25K.
And yes; When asked to provide a name when signing up, that track just happened to be playing.
My wife and I saw him playing live solo about 12 years ago. In the intro to the song he said while he was messing around with the song his wife asked what was it called, he told her "Sky Blue and Black"; she then asked what’s it about? He told her “I don’t know yet, I’ll tell you when its finished”.
A great song from a great musician……But as a muso myself; I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the storyline of lyrics at first, in some cases many years if ever; the whole feel of the composition make the lyrics almost irrelevant to me as is the case in many other classics.
Thanks for the response. I’m enjoying alternative 00’s on Spotify for my morning runs but am a bit of a softie for Jack Johnson when sitting in the sun. Kind of looking forward to my 25 min run tomorrow
