I am on week 7 run 2. Absolutely loving this programme. I’m 49 and haven’t run since I was as at school, so I have been very pleasantly surprised by my progress and the effect on my mental health.
I am finding, however, that I have been really tired and needing more sleep and rest since I’ve been doing it. I wonder whether anyone else has noticed this? I have done my run this morning and Instead of feelIng ready to go I feel like I need a sleep before I do anything else!!
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
If you haven't been used to this level or intensity of exercise previously then it will take your body some time to adjust.
How is your diet?
Sometimes the introduction of strenuous exercise highlights underlying issues, such as anaemia, which can cause tiredness. talk to your GP if it persists.
Perhaps you need to have longer between workouts as the duration increases.
It’s normal. Well , it was for me. Try getting a few more hours sleep in if you can. You’re body is busy building muscles 💪🦵Eat well, hydrate well, and leave a couple of days between runs if it helps. I did catnaps. Felt much better afterwards 😴. Go Hattie!
I used to feel the same, it’s a fatigued feeling, but I can reassure you it does disappear over time. Have a banana and a drink about 30 mins before you go out, that helps 👍
Me too Hattie! Week 8 has really hit me, mainly I think because I was uncharacteristically super active during week 7, adding in a long walk and a mountain bike ride to the three 25 minute runs. My body is like ‘what the heck are you doing to me?!’ 😂
Good luck with finishing Week 7 - you’re going to love Week 8 when it comes! 🏃♀️🏃♀️
