I'm currently running round my house and garden, and have got to week 8 of c25k, but have a couple of questions before I start again outdoors (when I find somewhere at and even do I don't fall over).Isit best to run on an empty stomach ie 1st thing in the morning? Also, can anyone recommend the best running shoes for outdoor please?

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
There is advice about when to eat prior to a run in the guide along with a link to a post about buying running shoes. Take other people's recommendations with a pinch of salt..........they are not you, do not run like you and their favourite shoe might injure you.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.

Maybe a banana and a drink of juice and/or water. Obviously not too much or you will get a stitch. As Iannoda says - you have to find out what works for you. Some people like a small caffeine fix. Some just have a glass of water. Make sure you have gone to the loo before you go out!!! Some people like porridge and wait an hour. It takes me an hour to faff around, have a banana and a drink, go to the loo at least twice and do my dynamic stretches, get dressed etc before my longer morning run. If I get ready within an hour for my shorter evening runs then that I am a winner!
