Started couch to 5k in June 2020. I was huffing & puffing & did quite a bit of swearing along the way. I walked/ran around a field as I was too self conscious to run in public spaces.
I actually completed couch to 5k. I have continued with running.....
I now run around town. Minimum five days a week. I always have a rest day.
I have been mixing things up a bit lately....
Long slow run & short quicker than slow run
My long run on Saturday was 9.76 mile. At a steady 5mph.
My personal best mile today was 10minutes & and 2seconds
Might not be good in comparison to others but I am super proud of myself.
I run in my own little bubble & don’t try to keep up with other peoples numbers etc.
Would like to thank couch to 5k for transforming my health & fitness ❤️❤️

That’s great but I don’t think you should be running that often. 4 times max. You’ll be doing too many consecutive days and could risk injury. But well done on your progress. Isn’t running amazing? Keeps me sane 🤣👍🏽
I try to fall out of bed & straight into my running clothes. Working so far. Had a few non run days due to weather & that led me to eating badly for the day. Back on it the next day. Running/jogging, (not sure if I qualify as a runner 🏃♀️) has really improved my health & well being. It is so satisfying knowing I am doing something to improve myself.
I try to focus on the road ahead & the feeling of doing a run & not worry about what people think when they see me.
