Did the 2nd run of wk7 and although battling against the breeze I found it less difficult this morning compared to Wednesday. I went back to my normal running route as I seem to like an idea of how far I still have to run. I got into a nice relaxed rhythm and just kept going and more to the point I just got through the garden gate and the heavens opened. So a good time all round.

Well done. I like to know where I am at specific points on my route too. good that you got home before the rain

Well done Returnagain! I pretty much did the same route for week 7 and onwards - as you say, itβs easier to gauge. Sounds as though you had a nice run πββοΈ. I had to wait for the rain to pass this morning, sometimes I just donβt feel like getting wet! All the best ππππΌ.

I'm the same, which is why I'm sticking to my current route. I'll definitely change it up when I'm more settled into running itself for variety.
Im the same too. I find that once I "know" where I am going, I can relax more and actually look at the scenery, whereas when Im concentrating on that first run of the week, Lauras voice is all I see !!I chickened out of W7R3 today because it was so wet and windy this morning, and this afternoon i have an opticians appointment, so going for it tomorrow, but I did do strength and flex level 5, so Im not all bad!! good luck to us all in W8 and w9
