Yesterday I gave myself a 24 hour mental pep talk in preparation for today’s run. I can report that whilst I wasn’t suddenly floating along on a cloud of positivity, I did have the resilience to not think about time and distance but to keep pressing on. It really would be easy to stop as tiredness kicks in (even now on CR 8 or 9) but that is also where the nine weeks kicks in - we’ve done it before so the body can do it again. So overall I can report the thinking positively helped specifically taking strength from past runs. Maybe there is also a determination not to let all the hard work slip (I used this last thought every week of the programme as it got progressively harder). Have a great weekend everyone 👍🏻 💕

Well done for the 5k and being positive! I find it helps to have something to look forward to listening to and my favs are the guided runs on the Nike Run Club app, especially Coach Bennett's (♥️). You'll find lots of motivation and positivity there! Happy running 🙂
