Hi I’m new here I’m on week 2 just done run 2 and the feeling when I’m warming down and a blasting song comes on I felt quite emotional! I can feel my body responding and adapting already and feel like my body is getting stronger each time. I swore I would never become one of those ‘bored’ who goes on about how good they feel etc and would go back to having my tea and biscuits but I’m changing I know it! Xx
Euphoria!!: Hi I’m new here I’m on week 2 just... - Couch to 5K
Euphoria!!
Well done on that progress so far 👍 that change becomes more noticeable as you continue through the plan.
Have a read of the plan for couch to 5 k it's got great advice on everything including those stretches for before and after running, advice on hydration and lots more,

Good luck
ha ha, there will come a day you will be bursting to tell everyone that you are runner
I agree !! I've always disliked running, although always kept fit in others ways. Lockdown has meant that these are currently limited, so pushed myself to start and used C25K as a safe method so as to hopefully avoid any injuries. Like you I am amazed how much I love it and actively look forward to run nights. I'm having to be really strict and not run on rest days, stick to the programme and not jump ahead - so far on run 2 week 3 so very early days. Very difficult not to start boring people with it - that's one of the reasons I joined this forum!
I'm at a similar stage in the c25k and have started to get the 'feelies' too on the warm down! Always hated running, but needed a no faff form of exercise and I'm starting to really enjoy the 30 minutes away from a busy life!
