Fibromyalgia 😞

So I completed C25K last year in October. I continued to run and was loving it. Then one morning woke with excruciating pain in my hips. A nurse informed me it was probably Trochanteric bursitis and would take time to heal. Unfortunately the pain got worse and started to spread all over my body. Last week I received the diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Still processing it and have been advised to find my “groove” with activity as I may not be able to run 5k anymore without it being quite debilitating afterwards. I just wondered if anyone else is running with a similar issue and if you have any advice.

Thanks in advance and keep moving everyone 🙂

Im in pain most days but find moving my muscles makes it better as not so stiff, I'm not running 5k yet though, maybe You could go for a walk for the same distance? Extra stretches before and after a run? It might be a case of trial and error for a bit x
