Today was my first consolidation run after a break of four days. This wasn’t because I had suddenly lost motivation but because after my graduation run I jumped in the shower and we’ll...let’s just say I hadn’t felt pain like it before (I’m measuring this on the male / non child birth scale 😂). Turns out I had developed a sore spot between the legs (said it was delicate in the heading!). Well half a tub of Sudacrem and a change of under garments and today I didn’t feel anything thanks 🙏. Anyway does anyone have any advice on avoiding similar problems in the future? Thanks friends.

Chafing is not uncommon and you will find various possible remedies including non chafe under layers or applications such as Bodyglide.
The other very painful experience awaiting you is runner's nipple.........ouch........again Bodyglide or tight fitting clothing help avoid it.
This is a lovely problem that some of us ... er ... not-so-skinny ladies have in the summer when we suddenly wear dresses and don’t usually. In my family it’s called the chub rub 🤣. Yes sudocream is the magic stuff for this once you get it but avoiding it is better! So far I haven’t got it running as the Lycra leggings seem to help this - worried about it now (scurries off to check still have sudocream)
Good luck and hope you can avoid it from now on 🤞
Perhaps either runner's needs or, up and running both have web sites👍
I've just restocked 3 off Amazon approx £38
Thanks IMC50. Found it at Running Form in Burton on Trent.
It's a runners must 🥳
I'm a bodyglide disciple too. I get mine from amazon usually.
Yes. Sudacrem. I'm surprised Donald Trump hasn't suggested it. It works miracles. I use it for other rashes. I evenn used it in the top of my left foot when I thought I had a rash and it seemed to do the job. It was partly a placebo effect.
I found out from this forum that my shoes were too tight! My new runners are half a size bigger than my normal shoes and I do not lace them as tight as I thought I had to and it works!
