Good evening all

I’m new here and am using this as the next level in my recovery from a total left hip replacement on 07/09/2020 - I’m not allowed to run but will be using this to improve my walking skills

You all take care now xx 🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️

Welcome to the forum.

In the guide below you will find a link to the Active 10 walking programme, which may be more appropriate.

This guide to the C25K plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Hello, I wish you well in your progress. The podcasts with Laura can be used just for walking and ignore the instructions for the running bits. The music sets a good pace and Laura provides motivational comments. I used the podcast for a brisk walk before trying out the actual running :)

If you ever do fancy music, you can get bone conducting ones where you can hear everything going on around you: traffic, voices, the lot. They’re amazing. Some races they’re the only headphones allowed.
