Hello I would like to introduce myself to the group I am in my first week of couch to 5k .

I never thought about starting to run but was inspired by my older brother who had completed is 9 weeks and was telling me about it .

I downloaded app and really feel like I am on my way never thinking I would ever consider new trainers and tracksuits πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Welcome Jamesonajog, it’s a great programme, I can imagine your older brother has been telling you all about it and is really enthusiastic, you’ll be exactly the same once you start. This forum makes the journey all the more enjoyable....Good Luck πŸ‘

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
