9th consolidation run done! It was cold, windy and raining. A tough run, my legs were sore right from the start, and I don’t think I fully relaxed into it until the last kilometre. Listened to a podcast this time - an interview with Battlestar Galactica composer Bear Mcreary as part of the Battlestar Galacticast.
Improved on the last run time but not quite back to my earlier times. I’ll need the next run to burn off the Christmas excess - not that I’m planning to be that excessive lol
Hope everyone has as good a Christmas as it’s possible to have in these crazy times!

Great work Lucas. I had consistency issues around consolidation runs 8 and 9 and you might find there are little dips here and there; but the continued progress will shine through in a few runs time. I was due to run 6K yesterday but illness and the ankle flare up scuppered that. Looking at possibly doing it this morning but we will see. Like you, I’m going to try not to overdo it tomorrow and Saturday as I don’t want my running to be any tougher than it already is! Keep going, you’re doing great!
Sounds a tough run, but you got out there and completed it, so well done. I used to watch Battle Star Galatica, it was a good series and one I with a decent budget, so the special effects were good for its time. I remember their enemies who were called the Cylons who had a kind of visor on their helmets with a red light that went from side to side and used to say ......By your command......I’ve just remembered all that, isn’t it funny how you remember certain things from TV programmes 🤔
I’m sure your next run will be a lot better....Merry Christmas Pr0f 🎅🎄
