Hills

Failing that....... Robotshark, reduce your stride length and perhaps lean into the hill ever so slightly, if it's a quiet hill is it possible to zig zag it maybe, and failing that, remember there's no shame In applying a walking break, as your fastest walk may be quicker than your slowest run pace, and it'll conserve energy 👍
When I go walking I sometimes go backwards up a hill to get a stretch. I haven't tried running up them yet!
Go slow, and if you can, pick a route that gives you a few gradual hills, and expand from there. I’m lucky in that I did the whole of c25k in a forest with loads of hills of various sizes, so they have always been part of each run. I can now do the biggest of all of them without stopping, although it’s still pretty arduous!
I can recommend zig-sagging. Makes hills less of an effort
Never heard of going backwards up a hill?? No problem going up just take it easy.
No one mentioned going down. That can be the problem. Take it easy, small steps to protect your knees, and dont let the speed carry you away.
Thank you everyone😀. Will try all these tips.
