Lower back pain is not uncommon and can easily be rectified by regular bridge and plank exercises, which will develop the solid core that all runners need.
My only caution would be around the fact that you have a prolapsed disc, in which case you would be safer getting advice from a GP or physio, rather than a bunch of strangers on the internet.
Thanks - good advice. I've already booked a video appt with a physio who has teated me before. I'm going to see what he says about warm up, warm down and my running style. Thanks again
