40 minutes!

I'm slow , I plod , I've yet to run 5 km , but I ran for 40 minutes today , in the darkish and the fog and I'm pleased with myself. I hope some of you get this .I also got to play with my new toy , a chest torch .And I got almost a smile from a real runner. I'm hoping he wasn't laughing at how awful I look when compared with real runners. But I'll take that !

You are a REAL. RUNNER, just because that other runner was going faster doesn't mean that you are not a runner, you RAN for 40 minutes, you are also a Real 🏃🏾 runner

Fantastic jwillmac, I totally get it, it’s a huge achievement, getting out there consistently for 6 months is a great achievement and your 40 minute run even better. I take my hat off to you getting out there even in darkish fog, I’m sure that smile was a mutual ‘here we are running even in the fog’. Keep going and be proud 🤩🤗

Well done! I think that one of the nicest things about running is that we all know it takes grit and nerve so we are all pleased for other runners. I am often overtaken on my runs but I almost always get a smile, a comment or a thumbs up sign from the faster runner - I take it as acknowledgment of my efforts, slow as they are. 😊

Hi there, I think I need to adjust the torch lol .It's a bit like putting a sports bra on , there is definitely a right and a wrong way lol .It illuminated where I wanted it to so im giving it a thumbs 👍. I like to go out at the back of 7 in the morning, so it's definitely needed !
