Walk at the river ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™ve really missed it!

We had planned to walk the bridleway side as itโ€™s made up path, so flatter and safer under foot, but there were a LOT of families with bikes at the bridge when we parked up (some enterprising person had set up a hot drink van there, and there was bit of a bottle neck), so we opted to walk the footpath side instead. Footpath was muddy, but not awful and the weather was dry and not too cold, though very overcast, but it was SO good to be out with the dogs and the husband

๐Ÿ˜

I was glad Iโ€™d taken my crutches as it was muddy and uneven enough underfoot for me to really need them. Plus, on our way back to the car a young playful dog charged towards me, which did put the wind up me rather, so I resorted to using the crutches as a shield while saying a sharp No. itโ€™s owners apologised, and I briefly explained why I was nervous from behind husbandโ€™s back ๐Ÿ˜†

We were very good and did not stop for a hot drink, but came straight home for lunch

I am glad that you are now getting outside and able to walk, well done.I bet when you see a runner you feel a little ๐Ÿค”and hope it won't be long before you can get back to running again, I am sure it won't be long.

Milder than I thought it would be; the only runners we saw today were in shorts and vests ๐Ÿ‘

Sorry to read about your injury, Maddee. I feel your pain, I broke my tibia a few years ago.

Hope youโ€™re back up and running soon (and with the dogs by your side - the dream!) ๐Ÿ˜
