Well my nurse is a bundle of gloom, after a week my toe looked much better to me but she tutted and sighed and said it’s still the same, then said the foot is still inflamed and swollen so have another week of antibiotics keep the dressing on all week and don’t go running. I told her we run very slow and my trainers and socks fit well

Right bundle of fun and I only went back because I wanted some antibiotic ear spray for my ear ache which took some persuading

Anyway Willow and i have been practising slow Japanese running so yesterday evening at work I trotted between houses and every so often one of us trots round the house

7 days straight at work and i arrived home this morning exhausted, sometimes it’s a bit much for this old lady.... but now I’m off for a week a whole week

So toast a bit of reading and sleep, cut my hair had a bath went for a walk on the beach

No running my a**** i have a tiny blister on my big toe at the top with a neat dressing on it

The photo is looking towards Brighton bit blustery down there today

That’s what I thought but she’s quite sweet and did eventually give in over the ear spray my ear was really hurting and full of infection but she made me wait a week before she gave in

I had a look at my toe this morning and it can hardly notice 😀

Better than it was thanks, the walk over shifting stones didn’t cause any pain

Oh dear you are having a bit of a time of it. At least you're not in pain. Enjoy your "I'm not really doing this, honest" runs 😉

Aah the beach!! My first love 💕 Sorry the blisters are still causing grief 😫Not fair when you are itching to run! Try the patience game so you don’t make them worse. We used to use an infra red lamp to speed up healing of blisters. Not sure if you can hire them from a pharmacy??

Hi Annie they are almost gone and it was great down there. I have a weeks leave and will go and look at the sea everyday just because it’s less than a mile away and on work days i don’t get to see the sea
