Latest you’ll go for a run

What time is the latest you’ll go for a run in the evening, with these dark nights. Just wondering, as I’m thinking of heading out at about 7pm but I have fear of being outside in the dark on my own 😂😂 wondering if there’ll be many other runners out

I only run before my food, so it tends to be around 5. There will be others out for sure.

9.30 pm, I like to run on the pavement so it’s quiet by then. I don’t like running throughout the day

I often go out around 7pm. See the odd runner but mainly dog walkers

I'll run as late as 9. Only where there are streetlamps, and only on routes I know well, so I can be careful on bits that I know are uneven. I stop and walk as I reach the pothole section of the road, and I remember which trees raise the pavement with their roots.

I have a good headtorch, but the other runners I see have chest torches which are probably better. I don't use my earphones in the dark.

I’m out after 8pm, I like to run on the roads around my village. I have a particular route I like to follow on a dark evening as I know it well. Generally only pass the odd person out for a stroll or dog walkers. I like the peacefulness running in the dark, I have a chest lamp on for when I pass through some of the streets without lamps.
