Learn to like the treadmill. It's weatherproof. You'll be nice and warm and cozy. What's not to like?
You can listen or watch whatever you want to make the time pass.

I'm new running, I am wondering if you need to have a medical check as damp should not affect breathing.
I did my run yesterday at about 2pm. It was one of the nicest runs i've had.
If you want to run, find a way! Its worth it to compromise something to keep at it.
You have not failed, until you've failed to try
No I have asthma and other medical conditions so what happened soon as the cold air touches my face a mouth I have breathing problems
Do you have a warm up walk before you begin so you can start to get accustomed to the temperature, and if you have an inhaler you could take that before going out?

Have you tried using a buff over your nose when running, it acts as a warming barrier between the weather and your lungs.
There's a lot of good advice here...

Hey mandy167!! I have had a winter withdrawal since I started C25K! I was a summer graduate you see. But I’m not having any of it this year.
I guess with Asthma, you do have to be careful. Just a suggestion, but maybe try putting your kit on and just walk in the weather that you don’t run so well in. You may later add in some running intervals if you feel up to it. You will get your exercise for wellbeing and it might help you to beat the weather restrictions once and for all! 🤞🏽
Go back to the C25K principles, start where you are and build up to where you want to be! 🦾 I hope you’ll find a solution that works for you! ❤️

Hi Mandy, I hear you! I have asthma and have had great advice from people on the forum here. These include: wearing a buff which covers your nose and mouth and warms the air you breathe, take preventer and reliever inhalers 15/20 mins before you go out, warm up walk for a bit longer, run in intervals - so run/walk to keep your breathing steady. I’m realising, frustratingly, that the winter months will be a bit harder because of the asthma, so listening to your body and running easy rather than really pushing is better. When the spring comes again it’ll be easier I hope! Good luck 🌞
