Week 7

Hi all, currently about to start week 7 of couch to 5k (and feeling great for it 👍🏻). I loved being able to run 25 minutes without stopping (although it was more of a slow jog). On this though I only managed 2.5k at best in terms of distance - so at the moment I’m struggling to see how 30 mins will get me to 5k. I know some say the aim is to run for 30 minutes, as opposed to the distance aspect. Anyone else had any similar thoughts? How far did you get in 30 minutes? Thank you, Tara :)

Most people don't get to 5K in 30 minutes by the time they graduate from C25K, the aim is to run 3 times a week on week 9 for 30 minutes, 4.4 Kilometers is about the average for most doing C25K at the end of the course.

Well done.

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.
