Full of energy today. Last night i completed my first 30 minute run, i will definitely stick to evening runs as i find them doable and enjoyable (totally opposite if attempting them in the mornings). I am a morning person generally so i cant explain this but anyway! I really enjoy sunsets like the one in the pic.
I actually cant believe im on my final week.
Im so happy with my achivement
Only two more runs and i finished the challenge. I am not sure if im supposed to check the distance of my runs from now on...and i know there is no way im doing 5k in 30 mins. I wonder does everyone check on week 9 how "well" are they doing with their pace or do you start doing this a couple of months after graduating, keeping the 30 min three times a week?
All the best!!

I did start to track my pace at the start of Week 7. It’s interesting to look at the stats and know where you are, but easy to become a bit despondent if, like me, you realise there is No Way you are going to run 5K in 30 minutes! I had to put that idea completely out of my head.
Now I’m glad I recorded those runs, if only to look back on my running journey and see my pace improve. I’m now on about consolidation run 34. I still can’t run 5K in 30 minutes. But - I can run for 10 miles!
So track by all means. It’s good to get used to doing it - but it’s really not important what your pace is at this stage. The importing thing is running for 30 minutes 👍
Well done for reaching the final week of the programme. It really is an amazing achievement, whatever your pace! 👏👍😀
Thanks Jools2020, i think you are right. Its important to track your pace to see in 6 months or a year's time the improvement...no need to be discouraged!
I am actually very happy. Who was going to tell me only 9 weeks ago i was going to be able to run- and enjoy doing it- for 30 minutes? Thanks the main thing!
