Just completed my "nth" C25K graduation with a (non) parkrun. Got two park runners to run with me and insisted on starting with a 5 minute walk. Really enjoyed it and found it so much easier when running with others - usually, I'm moaning and groaning So if you are struggling, try and find somebody to run with When I run on my own, a voice keeps on talking to me "this is hard", "just keep going", "how much further" so next challenge is to distract myself and concentrate on the "pleasure" of running ! Any ideas ?
PS. 5 min walk + 31 min running = 5km for me.

Brilliant advice, I know exactly what you mean about sabotaging yourself when you run alone. Unfortunately I live in rural France, no park runs So plodding on............
