Out of quarantine!

Just finished my two weeks of quarantine and will start running again tomorrow or Sunday and just wondered if I carry on where I left off or should I do some shorter runs to get back to the level I was two weeks ago? Any advice would be gratefully received 🙂

You normally keep your fitness for a couple of week until it’s slowly starts dropping off. So I’d say start where you finished but take it nice and easy and listen to your body. It’s ok to stop if you think you’re over doing it.

Aww I'm far from an expert

I would say go out and run- no pressure... just stop when you feel the need ... enjoy it 💕

You may be pleasantly surprised - my friend was 👏👏😀

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
