Glowering skies this morning but wind had dropped to under 10mph and it wasn’t raining. Felt good all the way round my route and had clocked up 4.51k by the time I finished. My aim is to run W9R3 on Wednesday but I can’t decide whether to try and speed up or extend the time to get the 5K under my belt. I’ll probably combine the two options if I’m feeling able to.
Still find it hard to believe that I’m running and planning to run in the future.

Ooo ever so close! Just one more, it's so exciting! If it helps, I was like you and wanted to see if I could achieve the 5k. I realised upping my speed could have scuppered my chances of graduating so I opted to try the 10% rule to see if I could cover the distance in 33 minutes. I found it more manageable though I won't lie, I was VERY grateful to cross the imaginary finish line lol. Best of luck for your final run. I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

4.5 km in 30 mins is very good and of course very tempting .
I knew I wouldn't achieve the 5 so I didn’t have that temptation .
I’d be reluctant to up the pace as Pnegirl says. If you did though , build it up through the last 15.
I’d say if you felt good and extended time by a few mins it might just get you there 🤷🏼♀️
