End of Week 2 C25K

Hi everyone. Just finished the third run and walk of week 2. I’ve been doing the podcast during a 5k exercise session ie half a mile warm up walk, start the podcast and keep going when it finishes till I complete 5k. The best times are always the third of the week at just over 41 minutes. Is anyone doing a similar regime? Any thoughts are welcome!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.

Injury often strikes out of the blue and can stop you for days, weeks or even months.
