Last run of Wk 8 today. Must admit I struggled a bit tho - my legs felt tired for some reason but more annoyingly, I had to keep getting my phone out as I've just gone over to Apple Music and it wouldn't continuously play my playlist!! Swapped to Radio 2 but for some reason this kept pausing too. I hate running without listening to something. However, every cloud has a silver lining and all the faffing with my phone meant that the time actually went quicker than normal and I was almost at the end of my 28 minutes before I knew it!
Onto W9 now but worried as the day I'm meant to Graduate I will be up in Scotland on business and wont be able to run! The 10 hour journey home later on that day will probably mean I'll be shattered the next morning too, so I'm thinking I might redo W9R2 and then have a proper day's rest to Graduate as I want it to be special!
Here's to everyone who's doing this plan - No matter where you are in your journey - keep going - I never imagined in a million years I would be able to do this and really if I can then anyone can - I have NEVER ran in my life, except for the odd bus when I was younger and I absolutely hated the thought of it....but now, because of how clever this plan is at getting you there, I'm really enjoying it physically and most importantly mentally. As Jo says; the feeling of achievement far outweighs the pain of doing it and I'm testament to that. I redid some of the earlier weeks when I just didn't feel confident enough to progress - but now I'm almost done I'm flabbergasted at how long I can run for! Keep going everyone, I promise you'll get there! x
