B210K - W2R1 3K 🎯

After concluding it was time for me to say goodbye πŸ‘‹ to C25K+ Stamina and Stepping Stone ... I fear Speed has now reached the same fate ☹️

I’ve posted about struggling with the slower BPM’s in relation to my natural pace and my little legs recently.

Today I tried the Speed podcast again for my short run of the week for the Magic 10K Plan and made a conscious effort to apply all the previous advice offered.

The stats speak for themselves - I am going slower than the speed I know I am capable of. The podcast is also not quite long enough for the distance of the short run now that it goes from 3K up to 4K ....

I really want the short run to be my speed and/or interval attempt each week. So, question:

- does anyone know of pre-mixed interval playlists?

I know I can use interval apps but I really can not run off beat so I would prefer something similar to the Speed podcast but with better music, with someone who can count on beat (sorry Laura!) and that is a little bit longer?

Before everyone piles on - I am not out of breath, I can speak and I don’t feel like I’m pushing myself too much πŸ˜‰ I’m also going to go slower for the longer distances (over 5K) as the programme progresses πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Hmm ... Can't help with playlists I'm afraid , and I don't use the podcasts (not my thing)

Prefer to use my own plan 😁

Hope your doing ok with the magic 10 πŸ‘

Thanks πŸ™πŸ» Instructor57. The Magic 10K plan is going well so far but it’s early days and the runs are distanced I’ve already covered - things get more demanding over the next couple of weeks 🀞🏻

No, not yet! I think the furthest I’ve done is 6K πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ so a long way off and a long way to go!

That's still great running from you. I'm going to try the stepping stones again when I get back to fitness but have dramatically increased my stride length so recon 150 to 160 will be fine for me πŸ™πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ˜
